The Work
- Advise companies responding to cybersecurity incidents, helping them manage crisis-related legal issues and navigate complex privacy and cybersecurity concerns.
- Represent clients in investigations involving cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and privacy, including matters that require regulatory defense.
- Counsel private-sector clients on cybersecurity and privacy best practices and regulatory compliance as legal requirements evolve.
- Provide cybersecurity-focused advice in connection with technology and corporate transactions.
- Advise cybersecurity companies on legal compliance related to security research and threat intelligence activities.
- Work with leading technology companies on complex cyber, AI, and privacy issues as part of a growing practice.
What You Bring
- Three or more years of relevant experience in incident response, cybersecurity investigations, private-sector cybersecurity counseling, or cybersecurity-facing government work.
- Experience with cybersecurity, privacy, or regulatory matters relevant to incident response, investigations, or counseling.
- A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant cybersecurity or privacy experience in a state or federal government agency is valued.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated salary range is $260,000–$435,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
