Position overview

Our client is expanding a growing practice advising leading technology companies as they respond to cyber incidents, navigate AI and privacy regulation, and address complex technology and corporate matters. This opportunity offers a mid-level to senior attorney significant responsibility across incident response, crisis management, regulatory defense, investigations, and counseling.

The Work

  • Help companies manage cybersecurity incidents, including response and crisis-management issues, and advise on complex privacy and cybersecurity challenges.
  • Represent clients in investigations related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and privacy, including matters involving regulatory scrutiny.
  • Counsel companies on cybersecurity and privacy best practices and regulatory compliance as they address evolving legal requirements.
  • Advise on cybersecurity issues in technology and corporate transactions, applying practical legal judgment to deal-related questions.
  • Advise cybersecurity companies on legal compliance related to security research and threat intelligence activities.
  • Work directly with leading technology companies as they navigate cyber, AI, and privacy regulation and related business needs.

What You Bring

  • Three or more years of relevant experience in incident response, cybersecurity investigations, or cybersecurity counseling in the private sector, or cybersecurity-facing work within a government agency.
  • Experience advising on or handling cybersecurity incidents, investigations, crisis response, or regulatory matters.
  • Knowledge of privacy and cybersecurity legal issues, regulatory compliance, or related investigations involving AI.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise clients on complex issues.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and superior academic credentials.
  • Relevant cybersecurity or privacy experience in a state or federal government agency is valued.

Compensation & Benefits

The firm-stated salary range is $260,000–$435,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
