Our client is seeking a mid-level to senior attorney to join a growing team advising leading technology companies on consequential cyber incidents and complex privacy, cybersecurity, and AI issues. This Boston opportunity offers significant responsibility across incident response, investigations, regulatory defense, counseling, and transactions.
The Work
- Play a key role in cyber incident response and crisis management, advising companies as they address cybersecurity incidents and related legal and regulatory issues.
- Represent clients in investigations involving cybersecurity, AI, and privacy, and help develop their regulatory defense strategies.
- Counsel private-sector companies on cybersecurity and privacy best practices, regulatory compliance, and the evolving requirements affecting their businesses.
- Provide cybersecurity guidance to companies engaging in technology and corporate transactions, helping address relevant legal issues in the deal context.
- Advise cybersecurity companies on legal compliance related to security research and threat intelligence activities.
What You Bring
- At least three years of relevant experience in incident response, cybersecurity investigations, or cybersecurity counseling in the private sector, or cybersecurity-facing work within a government agency.
- Experience with cyber incident response, crisis management, cybersecurity investigations, regulatory defense, or privacy and cybersecurity counseling.
- Relevant experience handling investigations connected to cybersecurity, AI, or privacy is valuable.
- A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a state or federal government agency is valued.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $260,000–$435,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
