Our client is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to advise innovative life sciences and technology businesses as they pursue IPOs, raise capital, and navigate life as public companies. Based in Palo Alto with a hybrid schedule, this role offers direct client work and the chance to support companies from startup through later stages.
The Work
- Advise life sciences and technology companies on the IPO process, helping clients prepare for and navigate the transition to the public markets.
- Lead equity capital markets transactions and capital markets offerings, taking meaningful ownership of matters and their execution.
- Counsel public companies on reporting obligations and the practical demands of operating as a public company.
- Work directly with clients at different stages of development, including startups and later-stage companies, across a full client life cycle.
- Manage and coordinate the associates and paralegals supporting capital markets work to move matters forward effectively.
- Support businesses bringing new products and technologies to market through significant corporate and financing milestones.
What You Bring
- At least five years of experience practicing corporate law.
- Experience advising companies through IPOs and equity capital markets transactions.
- Knowledge of public company reporting and the needs of companies operating in the public markets.
- Ability to lead capital markets offerings and manage the work of supporting associates and paralegals.
- Background or interest in life sciences and technology companies.
- Strong client-facing capabilities and the ability to advise businesses at varied stages of growth.

Compensation & Benefits
The Palo Alto role offers a hybrid schedule, a stated salary range of $365,000–$435,000 based on year classification, and the possibility of discretionary merit bonuses.
