Position overview

Our client is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate with 3–5 years of finance experience to join its debt finance practice in Boston. The role offers exposure to a broad range of financing and restructuring matters for investment funds, companies, and financial institutions, and requires in-person work.

The Work

  • Advise private credit, private equity, and other investment funds, public and private companies, and financial institutions on accessing and deploying capital across industries and asset classes.
  • Contribute to direct lending transactions for private equity sponsors in connection with acquisitions, as well as financing solutions for stressed and distressed companies.
  • Work on growth capital transactions for emerging technology companies and other forward-looking private credit investments.
  • Support large-cap and middle-market debt finance matters for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, including leveraged buyouts and domestic and cross-border acquisitions.
  • Work across senior secured debt, high-yield and bridge financings, asset-based facilities, and other leveraged financing transactions.
  • Participate in debt restructuring matters representing both debtors and creditors, alongside general corporate finance work.

What You Bring

  • Three to five years of finance experience.
  • Comparable law firm experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to, and good standing with, the bar of the state in which you intend to practice.
  • Experience relevant to debt finance matters, including private credit, leveraged financings, or debt restructurings.
  • Availability to work in person in the Boston office.
