Position overview

Our client is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate with 3–5 years of finance experience to join its Dallas Debt Finance practice. The team advises investment funds, companies, and financial institutions on financing and debt restructuring matters across industries and asset classes.

The Work

  • Represent borrowers and creditors in debt finance and debt restructuring matters, contributing to transactions across a range of capital structures.
  • Work on sponsor-backed acquisitions and leveraged buyouts, including domestic and cross-border acquisition financings.
  • Assist with senior secured debt, high-yield, bridge financing, and asset-based facility transactions.
  • Support private credit investors on direct lending transactions, including lending to private equity sponsors in connection with acquisitions.
  • Help structure financing solutions for stressed and distressed companies and growth capital transactions for emerging technology businesses.
  • Advise private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on large-cap and middle-market debt finance matters, as well as general corporate finance work.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of finance experience.
  • Comparable law firm experience and strong academic credentials.
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge of debt finance transactions and financing structures.
  • Ability to contribute to drafting, structuring, and execution of complex financing matters.
  • Familiarity with private credit, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, or debt restructuring is relevant to the practice.
  • Admission to, and good standing with, the Texas bar is required for practice in Dallas.
