Our client is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate with 1–5 years of experience to join its Palo Alto practice. The team advises technology and growth companies, from venture-backed startups to public market leaders, on commercial finance and debt capital markets matters.
The Work
- Assist issuers with convertible, high-yield, and investment-grade bond matters, supporting financing transactions across a range of debt capital markets.
- Work on broadly syndicated, club, and bilateral corporate credit facilities for borrowers, with exposure to varied financing structures.
- Contribute to acquisition financing matters, helping support corporate borrowers’ financing needs in connection with acquisitions.
- Assist with asset-based lending transactions, including matters involving ABL facilities.
- Work on venture debt financings for companies at the growth-company and startup stages.
- Support a fast-paced practice serving technology and growth companies, including venture-backed startups and public market leaders.
What You Bring
- 1–5 years of experience in commercial finance and/or debt capital markets.
- Transactional experience representing or advising issuers in convertible, high-yield, or investment-grade bond matters is relevant.
- Experience with borrowers entering broadly syndicated, club, or bilateral corporate credit facilities is relevant.
- Familiarity with acquisition financings, asset-based lending, and/or venture debt is valuable.
- Strong academic credentials and demonstrated transactional experience.
- Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction relevant to the office.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $225,000–$365,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
