Our client is seeking an associate with 4–8 years of experience to join its robust class actions litigation team in San Francisco. The practice is broad, cross-functional, and welcomes candidates with experience across class actions and commercial litigation, including exposure to a range of subject areas.
The Work
- Research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation filings in class action and commercial litigation matters.
- Participate in all aspects of discovery, contributing to the development and execution of case strategy.
- Take an active role in case management, tracking matter needs and supporting cases through their progression.
- Contribute to client management and communications as part of the team handling class action matters.
- Work on matters that may span consumer, employment, privacy, antitrust, and securities class action practice areas.
- Collaborate across a cross-functional class actions practice with matters involving varied litigation issues and subject areas.
What You Bring
- Four to eight years of legal experience; candidates in law school classes of 2018 through 2022 are within the stated target range.
- Strong interest in or prior exposure to state or federal class action practice.
- Commercial litigation experience beyond class actions.
- Ability to research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Experience participating in discovery and supporting litigation matters through case development.
- Capacity to contribute to case and client management.
- District court or appellate court clerkship experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual compensation range is $310,000–$435,000, dependent on qualifications and operational considerations, with discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits including health care, retirement benefits, paid sick and vacation time, parental leave, basic life insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts.
