Our client is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as a dedicated legal resource for institutional investors in a sophisticated, high-volume investment practice. This Boston-based position offers substantial responsibility for managing recurring matters and supporting transactions across asset classes and geographies.
The Work
- Provide day-to-day legal support to institutional investor clients on fund investments, co-investments, secondary transactions, and related investment matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate confidentiality agreements, subscription agreements, transfer agreements, and other documents for alternative asset transactions.
- Advise on investment structuring and related processes, including KYC/AML requirements, while helping clients implement transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with client legal, finance, tax, compliance, management, and investor relations teams, as well as internal corporate, tax, and regulatory colleagues.
- Manage a steady pipeline of recurring matters, track deliverables and deadlines, and maintain clear records, templates, and workstreams.
- Identify opportunities to improve forms, build precedent resources, streamline repeatable workflows, and reduce legal and operational risk.
What You Bring
- At least five years of relevant experience at a law firm, asset management firm, or similar legal environment, with substantial transactional and/or asset management experience.
- Knowledge of fund investment, co-investment, and secondary transaction documentation.
- Strong drafting and legal analysis skills, with the judgment to deliver accurate, practical work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high volume of matters, organize workstreams, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and work responsively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing or maintaining document templates, playbooks, precedent libraries, or other knowledge management resources.
- Proficiency in using artificial intelligence technologies responsibly and ethically, including protecting confidentiality, verifying outputs, and applying independent legal judgment.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the bar in the relevant office jurisdiction.

Compensation & Benefits
