Our client is seeking mid- to senior-level attorneys, from the class of 2023 through counsel, for its New York City Financial Institutions Group, with a focus on insurance transactions. The opportunity calls for substantive insurance M&A experience, including experience with reinsurance transactions.
The Work
- Contribute to insurance mergers and acquisitions matters within the Financial Institutions Group.
- Bring substantive transactional experience to insurance M&A work, with reinsurance transactions included in the team's practice needs.
- Apply insurance-sector transaction experience in a New York-based practice focused on financial institutions.
- Join the team at an associate or counsel level, with the specific scope of responsibility aligned to experience and discussed with the team.
What You Bring
- Mid- to senior-level attorney, with experience ranging from the class of 2023 through counsel.
- Substantive experience handling insurance M&A transactions.
- Experience with reinsurance transactions.
- Solid law firm experience is preferred.
- High academic achievement is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated starting base salary is $260,000–$455,000 annually, and the position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
