Join a collaborative litigation team handling high-stakes matters across jurisdictions. This Washington, DC-based opportunity offers hands-on involvement in coordinated proceedings and complex product liability defense, with a Fall 2027 start.

The Work

  • Work with colleagues across offices on multidistrict litigations, state coordinated actions, and other complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
  • Draft briefs and contribute to written advocacy on substantive issues in high-stakes litigation.
  • Manage discovery workflows and help develop fact and expert records, coordinating the work needed to advance complex cases.
  • Prepare for and participate in deposition preparation, including work related to fact and expert witnesses.
  • Contribute to trial preparation, gaining exposure to the strategic and practical demands of complex product liability defense.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues while managing multiple active workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring

  • The role is described as entry-level, with a Fall 2027 start, and welcomes Class of 2027 graduates or judicial clerks completing their terms.
  • The search profile lists 3–6 years of experience; candidates should confirm how their background aligns with the role’s entry-level description.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess complex issues are required.
  • Excellent legal writing skills and the ability to contribute to brief writing are required.
  • Interest or experience in complex litigation, multidistrict litigation, coordinated actions, or product liability defense is relevant.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues across teams and offices.
