Our client is seeking a Los Angeles-based associate with 3–5 years of experience to contribute to a growing Labor & Employment practice handling complex employment defense, traditional labor matters, and workplace counseling.
The Work
- Contribute to the defense of complex employment litigation, including class and representative actions and single-plaintiff matters.
- Work on employment disputes involving different scales and forms of claims, from representative proceedings to individual actions.
- Depending on your experience, support traditional labor law matters as part of a broad Labor & Employment practice.
- Contribute to employment counseling work, drawing on your knowledge of workplace issues and employment law.
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices as part of a growing practice group.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of legal experience, with experience in employment or other complex litigation defense, traditional labor law, and/or employment counseling.
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team across offices.
- Experience with class and representative actions or single-plaintiff employment litigation is relevant to the practice.
- Order of the Coif, law review, or clerkship experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated pay scale is $260,000–$455,000, with actual salary commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
