Our client is seeking a midlevel associate to join a growing healthcare disputes and enforcement practice in Los Angeles, the preferred location, or Seattle. The position offers substantial hands-on work across litigation and regulatory matters affecting healthcare providers, health systems, and other industry participants.
The Work
- Handle healthcare litigation and commercial disputes at various stages of dispute resolution, contributing to case strategy, research, writing, advocacy, and case management.
- Work on medical staff and peer review matters, addressing disputes and proceedings involving healthcare organizations and their professionals.
- Assist with licensing matters and board actions, including the litigation and regulatory issues that arise in those proceedings.
- Participate in administrative enforcement proceedings and related regulatory disputes affecting healthcare providers and industry participants.
- Support fraud and abuse investigations and enforcement matters, including research, written advocacy, and management of case work.
- Collaborate across teams on complex healthcare regulatory and compliance disputes, with opportunities to take meaningful responsibility and develop client-facing experience.
What You Bring
- Three to five years of litigation experience; law firm litigation experience is preferred.
- Strong legal writing and research skills, with the ability to develop clear, persuasive work product.
- Advocacy experience and the ability to handle litigation matters through different stages of dispute resolution.
- Interest in healthcare law, regulatory enforcement, and complex disputes.
- Strong case-management skills and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
- Collaborative approach to working across teams, with sound professional judgment.
- Strong academic credentials.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual salary range is $225,000–$315,000, with actual pay adjusted based on job-related factors; an annual discretionary bonus may also be available.
