Our client is seeking a 3–6 year associate for a corporate practice handling mining infrastructure matters across financing, debt finance, offtakes, M&A, joint ventures, and renewable energy transactions. The position may be based in Los Angeles.
The Work
- Take significant involvement in financing transactions supporting mining infrastructure projects, contributing to matters from the financing process through transaction documentation.
- Work on debt finance matters connected to mining infrastructure, engaging with the capital structures and financing needs of projects in the sector.
- Support the negotiation and documentation of offtake arrangements, addressing commercial agreements tied to mining and infrastructure development.
- Participate in M&A and joint venture transactions involving mining infrastructure, with exposure to corporate deal work across the sector.
- Contribute to renewable energy transactions alongside mining infrastructure matters, gaining experience across the practice’s energy-transition work.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of associate experience.
- Experience with mining infrastructure matters; significant involvement in financing transactions, debt finance, offtakes, M&A, joint ventures, and renewable energy transactions is sought.
- Strong academic credentials are required.
- Comparable law firm or in-house experience is preferred.
