Our client is seeking a mid-level finance associate with approximately four years of experience to join its practice in Los Angeles or Palo Alto. The role offers hands-on responsibility for drafting and negotiating financing documents, supported by a lateral mentoring program and professional development resources.
The Work
- Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, security agreements, and other loan documents for finance matters.
- Work across the documentation process, helping develop and negotiate key terms that govern financing transactions.
- Apply UCC knowledge to financing work and related security documentation.
- Draw on general corporate experience to address corporate matters connected with finance transactions.
- Contribute to matters involving data centers or digital infrastructure where relevant; experience in these areas is a plus.
What You Bring
- Approximately four years of relevant experience; candidates from the 2019–2022 associate classes are encouraged to apply.
- General finance experience, including work on financing transactions and loan documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, security agreements, and other loan documents.
- UCC experience and a working background in general corporate matters.
- Strong academic achievement.
- Experience at a peer firm is preferred; data center or digital infrastructure experience is an additional plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated base salary range is $310,000 to $420,000, and the position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
