Position overview

Our client is seeking an entry-level associate to join its Corporate group in Minneapolis for a fall 2027 start. This opportunity is designed for current third-year law students expecting to graduate in spring 2027 who are ready to strengthen their legal skills, contribute to a collaborative team, and develop insight into client needs.

The Work

  • Prepare accurate, timely work product and deliverables, with close attention to detail and the deadlines and expectations of the assignment.
  • Conduct legal research and apply analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to assigned corporate-group work.
  • Communicate professionally and responsively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties, including through written correspondence and calls.
  • Work both collaboratively and independently, staying organized and managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to a client-focused practice by using sound judgment and clear communication to support the group's work.

What You Bring

  • Current third-year law student with an anticipated spring 2027 graduation and a JD from an accredited law school upon graduation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think conceptually.
  • Strong legal writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively.
  • Careful attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good business judgment and the ability to understand client needs.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, competing demands, and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
