Our client seeks an associate to join a collaborative team handling high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional matters, with hands-on opportunities in brief writing, discovery, fact and expert development, and deposition and trial preparation. This posting focuses on Boston; the team also works across its Chicago and Washington, DC offices. The position is expected to begin in Fall 2027.
The Work
- Draft briefs and other written advocacy in complex litigation, developing arguments in coordination with colleagues across offices.
- Manage discovery workflows and contribute to the development of factual records in matters involving multiple jurisdictions.
- Support expert development, including work that advances the expert record in complex product liability defense matters.
- Assist with deposition preparation and take part in preparing cases for trial.
- Work on multidistrict litigations and state coordinated actions, collaborating with cross-office teams on high-stakes matters.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients and colleagues while managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring
