Position overview

Our client is seeking an attorney with 1–7 years of experience to advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity issues in major corporate and technology transactions. Work with private and public companies across a range of industries, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, and fintech.

The Work

  • Advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity considerations throughout mergers and acquisitions, including the transactional work involving companies of varied sizes.
  • Support public offerings by identifying and addressing privacy and cybersecurity issues relevant to the transaction.
  • Counsel on privacy and data issues arising in commercial and strategic transactions, helping clients navigate these considerations as deals progress.
  • Work on technology transactions involving companies in software, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and fintech.
  • Apply transactional judgment to matters involving corporate and technology clients, drawing on experience in M&A, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work.

What You Bring

  • One to seven years of legal experience.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work is required.
  • A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with technology industries, regulatory policy, or enforcement is desirable.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000–$420,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
