Our client is seeking a corporate attorney to advise growth companies and the investors who back them across the full business lifecycle. Based in Boston, this role offers varied work for clients from early-stage start-ups to public companies, with meaningful responsibility and opportunities to build breadth across corporate disciplines.
The Work
- Advise companies and investors on venture capital financings, including matters supporting businesses as they grow from early-stage ventures.
- Work on private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions for a diverse client base that includes growth companies and investment firms.
- Contribute to public offerings and counsel public companies on ’34 Act compliance as their needs evolve.
- Support corporate governance matters for clients at different stages, from start-ups to established public companies.
- Work with clients in life sciences, technology, clean energy, and financial services, as well as leading venture capital and private equity firms.
- Communicate with clients and colleagues while taking on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative, entrepreneurial practice.
What You Bring
- Four to six years of law firm experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: venture capital financings, private equity transactions, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, ’34 Act compliance, or corporate governance.
- Ability and interest to contribute across a broad corporate practice; experience in every listed discipline is not required.
- Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Clear, effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Self-starter who works well in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is prepared to take on meaningful responsibility.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Experience representing technology or life sciences clients is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated salary range is $310,000–$390,000, based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses also possible.
