Our client is seeking a structured finance associate with at least two years of relevant experience to join its New York City practice. The team advises on bespoke capital-raising and investment solutions, complex securitizations, and innovative structures involving a broad range of asset classes.
The Work
- Contribute to the structuring and execution of complex structured finance and securitization transactions addressing clients’ financing and investment needs.
- Work on transactions involving off-the-run and esoteric assets, including aircraft leases and related assets, cell and broadcast towers, rental car fleets, and whole-business securitizations.
- Support traditional securitization matters involving U.S. and European collateralized loan obligations, credit card receivables, sub-prime auto loans, cash and synthetic securitizations, and trade receivables.
- Work with a broad range of transaction participants, including issuers and sponsors, banks, investors and funds, insurers, credit enhancers, and liquidity providers.
- Contribute to cross-border matters involving the commercial, insolvency, and tax considerations relevant to structured finance and securitization transactions.
- Assist with complex and cutting-edge transactions, innovative structures, and first-time securitizations of new asset classes.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations.
- Experience working on structured finance or asset-backed transactions.
- Familiarity with securitizations involving traditional or esoteric asset classes.
- Knowledge of transaction considerations across commercial, insolvency, or tax dimensions is relevant to the practice.
- Ability to work with matters involving multiple transaction participants and complex financing needs.
