Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations to join its Chicago practice. The work includes complex financing matters, innovative structures, and securitizations across a broad range of asset classes.
The Work
- Assist with structured finance and securitization transactions, helping develop financing solutions tailored to the commercial needs of clients.
- Work on matters involving issuers and sponsors, banks, investors and funds, insurers, credit enhancers, and liquidity providers.
- Contribute to transactions involving traditional assets, including U.S. and European CLOs, credit card receivables, sub-prime auto loans, cash and synthetic securitizations, and trade receivables.
- Work on less traditional or esoteric asset-backed matters, including aircraft leases and related assets, cell and broadcast towers, rental car fleets, and whole business securitizations.
- Participate in complex and innovative transactions, including first-time securitizations of new asset classes, with cross-border commercial, insolvency, tax, and operational considerations.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations.
- Experience or substantive familiarity with structured finance and asset-backed transaction work.
- Knowledge of securitization structures and transaction types such as CLOs, receivables securitizations, or other asset-backed financings.
- Ability to work with matters involving multiple transaction participants, including issuers, sponsors, financial institutions, investors, and service providers.
- Interest or experience in complex transactions involving novel asset classes and cross-border commercial, insolvency, tax, or operational issues.

An estimated base range of $235,000–$310,000 is based on the 2026 Cravath scale and is not firm-stated compensation; discretionary bonuses may be available depending on application circumstances and position.
