Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of structured finance and securitization experience to join a practice handling complex financing transactions and bespoke investment solutions. The work includes both established securitization products and innovative transactions involving less conventional asset classes.
The Work
- Contribute to the structuring and execution of bespoke capital-raising and investment transactions tailored to client financing needs.
- Work across transactions involving issuers and sponsors, banks, investors and funds, insurers, credit enhancers, and liquidity providers.
- Handle securitizations involving traditional asset classes, including collateralized loan obligations, credit card receivables, sub-prime auto loans, and trade receivables.
- Contribute to transactions involving less conventional assets, such as aircraft leases and related assets, cell and broadcast towers, rental car fleets, and whole-business securitizations.
- Work on cash and synthetic securitizations and support cross-border matters involving commercial, insolvency, tax, and operational considerations.
- Participate in complex and cutting-edge transactions, including innovative structures and first-time securitizations of new asset classes.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience working on structured finance transactions and securitizations.
- Experience contributing to financing transactions and securitization matters in a legal practice.
- Knowledge of structured finance products such as CLOs, receivables securitizations, or asset-backed transactions.
- Exposure to one or more asset classes, including traditional receivables or less conventional assets such as aircraft leases, towers, or rental fleets.
- Ability to work on matters involving multiple transaction participants, including issuers, sponsors, financial institutions, investors, or insurers.
- Interest or experience in the commercial, insolvency, tax, and operational considerations relevant to structured finance transactions.
