Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of debt finance experience to join its Growth Debt team in San Francisco. The practice represents lenders and borrowers, primarily in the life sciences and technology sectors, on secured and unsecured lending matters.
The Work
- Support debt financing transactions for lender and borrower clients, with a focus on growth debt matters in the life sciences and technology sectors.
- Work on secured and unsecured lending transactions and address related UCC secured-transaction issues.
- Contribute to leveraged finance and private capital matters, coordinating transaction work across the relevant financing structures.
- Engage with both sides of lending transactions, gaining experience representing credit providers as well as companies seeking financing.
- Work within a broader Banking & Private Credit practice that handles a range of financing products, including first- and second-lien, unitranche, mezzanine, and asset-based loans.
What You Bring
- At least two years of debt finance experience; candidates with approximately two to four years of experience are sought.
- Experience with secured and unsecured lending transactions.
- Familiarity with UCC secured transactions.
- Experience or demonstrated knowledge in leveraged finance and private capital.
- Ability to contribute to financing matters for lender and borrower clients, particularly in the life sciences and technology sectors.
