Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of debt finance experience to join its Growth Debt Group in Los Angeles. The group represents lenders and borrowers, with a primary focus on clients in the life sciences and technology sectors.

The Work

  • Work with lender and borrower clients on growth debt matters, contributing to financings from development through execution.
  • Advise on secured and unsecured lending transactions, including matters involving UCC secured transactions.
  • Participate in leveraged finance and private capital matters for clients in the life sciences and technology industries.
  • Support transactions involving varied credit structures, drawing on the broader practice’s experience with first- and second-lien, unitranche, and other junior-capital financings.
  • Engage with both sides of financing transactions and collaborate across a Banking & Private Credit platform serving a range of credit providers and borrowers.

What You Bring

  • At least two years of debt finance experience.
  • Experience with secured and unsecured lending transactions.
  • Familiarity with UCC secured transactions.
  • Experience or familiarity with leveraged finance.
  • Experience or familiarity with private capital matters.
  • Ability to contribute to financing work for lender and borrower clients.
  • Interest or experience in matters involving life sciences and technology companies.
