Position overview

Our client is seeking a Finance Associate with at least two years of experience to join its Project Development & Finance practice in San Diego. The role focuses on representing project owners and developers in EPC contract work for high-profile, complex energy and infrastructure projects.

The Work

  • Represent project owners and developers in drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for complex projects.
  • Take an active role in developing and negotiating EPC agreements that address the commercial and technical needs of energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Advise clients on project contracts throughout negotiations, working directly with owners and developers on agreements central to project development.
  • Work on matters involving project sponsors across industrial sectors and geographies within a practice with broad project development and finance experience.

What You Bring

  • At least two years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience representing project owners and developers in EPC contract matters.
  • Demonstrated capability drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction agreements.
  • Experience with high-profile, complex energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to engage with the commercial and technical dimensions of project contracts.
