Position overview

Our client is seeking a Finance Associate with at least two years of experience to join its Project Development & Finance practice in Washington, D.C. The associate will represent owners and developers in drafting and negotiating EPC contracts for high-profile, complex energy and infrastructure projects.

The Work

  • Represent project owners and developers in the drafting and negotiation of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for complex energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Work on high-profile project matters, helping develop and negotiate contractual terms that support project delivery and development objectives.
  • Advise sponsor-side clients on EPC contract issues throughout negotiations, applying commercial judgment to the needs of each project.
  • Contribute to project development and finance work spanning a broad range of industrial sectors and geographies.

What You Bring

  • At least two years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience representing owners or developers in energy or infrastructure project matters.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
  • Familiarity with complex energy and infrastructure projects and the needs of project owners and developers.
  • Strong contract analysis and negotiation capabilities, supported by experience on high-profile project matters.
