Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance experience to join its growing Banking practice in San Diego. The team represents borrowers, arrangers, and direct lenders and handles financing and development matters in the gaming and hospitality sectors.
The Work
- Work on financing transactions for borrowers, arrangers, and direct lenders, contributing to matters from structuring through execution.
- Advise on leveraged and acquisition financings across private credit and syndicated markets.
- Work with a range of private credit products, including first- and second-lien, unitranche, mezzanine, and asset-based loans.
- Gain exposure to preferred equity and other junior-capital transactions, as well as complex financing structures.
- Contribute to financing and development matters involving the gaming and hospitality sectors.
- Work across lender-side and borrower-side matters and engage with different participants in financing transactions.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
- Experience working on financing transactions for lenders, borrowers, or other financing participants.
- Familiarity with private credit or syndicated lending products and transaction structures.
- Exposure to acquisition or leveraged financings is relevant to the practice.
- Interest or experience in gaming and hospitality financing is relevant to the team’s work.
