The Work

  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, development agreements, and financing documents for data center and other commercial real estate transactions.
  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, and development of data center assets and platforms, helping advance matters through structuring, diligence, and execution.
  • Work on hyperscale and colocation leasing arrangements, including large-scale commercial leasing, ground leases, and build-to-suit transactions.
  • Coordinate title, survey, and project-level due diligence, helping identify and address issues relevant to proposed transactions.
  • Collaborate with corporate, finance, tax, and energy and infrastructure colleagues on financing, M&A, and other cross-practice aspects of transactions.
  • Contribute to domestic and cross-border deal structuring and execution, with opportunities to support additional real estate matters beyond data center work.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development projects, and/or real estate financings.
  • Ability to draft and negotiate principal transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related deal documents.
  • Experience managing or coordinating real estate due diligence, including title, survey, and project-level diligence.
  • Experience with data center leasing, ground leases, build-to-suit transactions, or other large-scale commercial leasing is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively across practice areas, including corporate, finance, and tax.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a commercial mindset and interest in digital infrastructure and real estate.

Why Consider It
