Our client is seeking a corporate M&A associate with at least two full years of mergers and acquisitions experience to join its Boston practice. The role is focused on company representation and strategic acquisitions, within a broader platform handling complex transactions for corporate and private equity clients.
The Work
- Advise companies on strategic acquisitions and other mergers and acquisitions engagements, with attention to each client’s business objectives.
- Contribute to deal teams working through transaction challenges and developing practical, commercially grounded approaches for clients.
- Participate in matters across a broad M&A practice, including complex cross-border carve-outs, tax-free spin-offs, and going-private transactions.
- Work within a practice addressing shareholder activism, antitrust challenges, and changing regulatory requirements that may affect transactions.
- Support client matters that draw on related advice in areas such as capital markets, executive compensation, leveraged finance, and tax.
- Gain exposure to private equity transactions across the investment lifecycle, from initial investment through exit, as part of a global platform.
What You Bring
- At least two full years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience representing companies in M&A matters.
- Experience with strategic acquisitions.
- Relevant experience contributing to corporate transaction teams and advising on clients’ business objectives.
- Ability to engage with transaction challenges and support the development of practical solutions.
