Position overview

Take ownership of complex merger investigations involving market-leading companies and competitive sectors. This opportunity centers on both the substance and process of Second Request compliance, including leading review teams on high-profile deals with substantial industry breadth.

The Work

  • Manage the substantive and process components of Second Request compliance in complex merger investigations.
  • Lead Second Request reviews, directing teams of associates and contract attorneys through the review process.
  • Work on complex, high-profile deals involving market-leading companies across technology, life sciences, medical, energy, financial services, transportation, and consumer products.
  • Contribute to a practice with robust deal flow and a focus on some of the largest and most complex merger investigations.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of attorney experience, with particular experience in mergers.
  • Experience with both substantive and process aspects of Second Request compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a Second Request review and lead teams of associates and contract attorneys.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Technology or life sciences sector experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $260,000–$390,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
