The Work
- Manage significant aspects of antitrust review for complex domestic and cross-border transactions, coordinating with clients, economists, and deal teams.
- Prepare and support Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filings and help guide matters through the regulatory review process.
- Assist with Second Requests, including organizing and supporting document productions and responding to agency information demands.
- Contribute to merger investigations by helping develop the factual and documentary record and coordinating the workstreams involved in agency review.
- Support proceedings before U.S. and international competition authorities, including Second Requests in the United States and Phase II reviews before European Commission and EU Member State authorities.
- Work with transactional teams and clients to address merger-control issues in active deal processes.
What You Bring
- At least four years of legal experience, including substantial merger-control experience.
- Experience handling HSR filings, Second Requests, and merger investigations.
- Ability to manage significant aspects of antitrust review for complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Experience with regulatory filings, agency investigations, and document productions.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with economists, clients, and deal teams throughout a review.
