Our client is seeking an associate with 4–7 years of private equity funds experience to join its Investment Management team in Chicago. This opportunity is intended for an experienced attorney ready to continue building a funds practice within an established law-firm group.
The Work
- Contribute to the Investment Management group's private equity funds practice, bringing your prior experience to the team's ongoing work.
- Apply your experience to fund-related client matters; the role description does not limit the opportunity to a particular fund strategy or transaction type.
- Engage with the team on assignments suited to your experience level, with specific responsibility and client-contact expectations to be discussed during the process.
- Work from the Chicago office as part of a group seeking mid- to senior-level associates with a background in private equity funds.
What You Bring
- Four to seven years of experience focused on private equity funds.
- Strong academic achievement.
- Solid law-firm experience is preferred.
- Relevant in-house experience will also be considered.
