Our client is seeking an associate with 4–7 years of experience to join its Chicago corporate practice. The role offers substantial client interaction and responsibility on complex fund formation matters, co-investments and secondary transactions within a global practice.
The Work
- Work on complex private fund formation matters for private fund sponsors and institutional investors.
- Contribute to co-investment matters, engaging with the needs of private fund clients across transaction types.
- Work on secondary transactions as part of a varied private funds practice.
- Interact directly with clients and take on significant responsibility across matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a global practice and team-oriented work environment.
What You Bring
- 4–7 years of relevant legal experience.
- Large law firm experience representing private fund sponsors on fund formation matters.
- Experience representing institutional investors in complex fund matters.
- Knowledge of co-investments and secondary transactions.
- Strong capability to contribute to complex matters while engaging with clients.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $310,000–$535,000, with actual compensation based on qualifications and relevant experience.
